I Believe Venting Is Not Selfish

I wouldn't even describe it as venting really. I see it more as something that you want to get off your chest.. something that you need to talk about to someone that you can trust.

Venting can be done in both a constructive manner, as well as a destructive one...

For instance, one example of a destructive way of venting anger, is to, for instance, wreck a whole room, destroying everything in sight, whereas a constructive way of venting anger, would be to put on some up tempo music and dance.

@Sidewinder What would your thoughts be on venting to other people?

@DaveyTaco Well, it is said, that "misery loves company," and I think it is good to have good friends that one can confide their innermost feelings to.

And just a casual conversation between two mutual friends can be considered a subtle way of venting.
