Centrists are like the toxic positivity people. Like saying "ohh please don't be violent 🥺" to people protesting on the streets about their basic rights. If I'm violent, then what do you call the state, the cops, the banks etc 😂 Yeah we forgot to beg the government to pay us more than the minimum wage for doing a dangerous job, to send them gifts and ask nicely to treat minorities fairly etc. Because that would work.

@Elessar people like that have a very lazy morality. They just want to get rid of everything instead of having some principles and standing up against clear cut toxic beliefs etc
@deadgerbil I think they're just far-rightwingers in the closet. They realize that openly sprouting rightwing nonsense don't get them laid, and the average person who don't follow politics much might fall for or even sympathize with their "aKsHuAlLy I'M aPoLiTiCaL, BoTh SiDeS SuCk" façade
Exactly. I’m always seeing "centrists" who aren’t really in the middle at all. They only criticize the left and are strangely silent on the multitude of hard right abuses. I don’t think issues that threaten civil rights and living’ breathing people can be compromised on. You might remember this meme that made the rounds during the protests in 2020:
I can respect it, problem is centrists will never make an impact or change. Maybe they don't have to though, they're just normal people, maybe theyre just not nuts like the rest of us.
