@DrawntoaDistance ooh me too

Wow, you speak my language. This happens to me all the time, especially with family. I graduated elementary school many years ago and I prefer being treated as an adult. People don't have the good sense to know the difference; I am much wiser than that. I totally understand where you are coming from

@urbancowboy Shame only works if you feel guilty about something. I have learned to not say and do things I would feel guilt over. It's that simple.
I don't need someone wiping their emotional manipulation all over me like a door mat. They can go somewhere else if they are going to do that. Shame on them for trying to be manipulative.

I get a lot of that when I decide I’m less interested in "being the better person". Which I feel often, now that I’m old and am seeing less real benefit in it. It doesn’t even seem to gain one much respect. 🙁
FoxyQueen · 51-55, F
@bijouxbroussard I totally relate to that. I don't mind new information, but if you are going to try and shame me, I don't have time for that nonsense. Be an adult and talk to me like one, otherwise, keep your mouth shut. No one needs that.

@Mellowgirl Eh, it seems to have passed. I wouldn't go out of my way to engage with them.
That's how some are or were on this site like they were on EP very diabolical
