Why are some people on here so rude and sarcastic?

I have gotten some very rude and sarcastic replies on some of my posts. Similar worlds is supposed to be a place to get support and understanding not meanness. What is wrong with people? They must love ripping vulnerable people . I already have poor self esteem and mental health issues and a very sensitive temperament /personality. For example, when I said I was looking for a husband that I do feel affection for and can grow to love to help me financially and emotionally, people made fun of me.

You're last several posts talk about gender fluidity, transgenderism, and pan-sexuality.

Those are controversial issues. You have every right to express yourself as you see fit, but if you are going to express allegiance and support on these issues, you must recognize that not everyone agrees and may express their disagreement with you, up to, and including, being attacked for your beliefs.

I'm not saying its ok, but you should recognize that you are wading into controversial territory and not everyone is going to support you on it.
