Why are some people on here so rude and sarcastic?

I have gotten some very rude and sarcastic replies on some of my posts. Similar worlds is supposed to be a place to get support and understanding not meanness. What is wrong with people? They must love ripping vulnerable people . I already have poor self esteem and mental health issues and a very sensitive temperament /personality. For example, when I said I was looking for a husband that I do feel affection for and can grow to love to help me financially and emotionally, people made fun of me.

Looking through some of your posts, I can see why.

You say that you want a husband to pay for your education and support you whilst you study - yet, you make no mention of how he benefits from doing all this???

A few nights at a high end brothel would still be cheaper than paying for your education and upkeep for however long you will be studying.

Nobody wants to feel like they are just a means to a better life than you have now - so, what qualities are you offering to this hypothetical husband???
