Do you find it rude when you politely hand money to a cashier yet they put your change on the counter?

It's always a certain people group too.

I guess they're afraid they might catch some melanin if their hand comes in contact with mine 💁🏽‍♀️

It happens - I very rarely use cash these days but occasionally a cashier would put the change on the counter rather than into my hand and then it's a pain to pick it up and seems to take ages to get all the coins under control! I just assumed they were germ-phobic and didn't like the thought of touching others.
