I Dislike Rude People

My mom is a cancer survivor and she is very happy and had chemo them some other lady lashed out at her saying, "Maybe you don't realize that people aren't so fucking lucky!! I have stage four breat cancer and you are up here bragging that you're going to live right on my face when MY fucking children aren't going to have a mother around any longer!! I want to live! Nobody understands how fucking hard it is! I want to see my babies grow up and have children!!!"
Man what is wrong with that lady. My mom told me what happened. That lady should have apologized.

I mean don't get me wrong, I feel horrible for her and her children but she shouldn't have yelled at my mom like that. That's rude.

She's hurting - a lot. Surely both you and your mother can recall what it was like in the days after diagnosis but before treatment was identified and put into place for her???

It's common for the sufferer to just lash out like that - especially in terminal cases. i've been going through a lot of that with my own mother after her diagnosis of terminal cancer.

People deal with fear differently. The lady may have just had a very difficult day and was struggling to keep herself together before your mom even showed up. I’m not condoning the behavior but I can certainly empathize.

This is awful. This is not in anyone's hands but God and she should be ashamed of lashing out at your mom. I am so sorry for your mother.
