Well, if they trust me enough to tell me such a sensitive thing, I'd make a decent effort to help them on their journey to recovery. First question I'd ask is what they want to do.

I'd help them however I could. First get them safe from harm.

The first thing I would do is explain to them that they clearly have evidence for it and I appreciate them being brave enough to come to me, but I need some time to process it as it's clearly overwhelming for both of us. Then I would probably consult ChatGPT on private mode lol.
