You decide the identity you wish to embrace.
Like I said hundreds of times, your identity doesn't have to be how the world treats you. Decide who you are and hold unto it.
A diagnosis related to autism doesn't aim to give you an identity. It is more of a guideline about how you can navigate your needs, and for your loved ones to accommodate them and understand them. It is not a definition of identity.

@Miram You seemed harsh even though you explained.

@Dianedidi7 She is a very busy woman, give her some time and I think she will answer kindly, as soon as she gets a chance.
No one here dislikes you. 🤗

@SinlessOnslaught I’m talking to her. I didn’t just now mentioned anyone else here. It is rude to butt in when I’m asking someone.

What do you mean? Can you explain in more detail?
Dianedidi7 · 31-35, F
@SinlessOnslaught yes

I get mislabeled all the time for having social anxiety when clearly I don't. I don't let it get to me. Well, maybe I do, but if I do I don't let it bother me. I just keep moving forward.
Dianedidi7 · 31-35, F
@MarkPaul this is what I get for posting my question
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Dianedidi7 Well, what exactly are you looking for? It's going to take some work. Are you saying you don't want to put any effort into it?
Dianedidi7 · 31-35, F
@MarkPaul I tried that

A person belong to himself/herself. A person belongs to his/her family if they so choose.
Your identity is also your choice, but identity is different than acceptance. Acceptance you have to earn. You have to prove that you’re worthy of acceptance on your terms. To do so, you might have to change the opinion of some others as acceptance is not free.

Baptist Church?
Dianedidi7 · 31-35, F
@hunkalove no
Is the world mislabeling or is the person themselves mislabeling?
@Dianedidi7 because your question is very indirect eh?
Dianedidi7 · 31-35, F
@SStarfish In the opposite way. Oh my gosh, no one is answering my question directly. They all change it to their question instead.
Dianedidi7 · 31-35, F
@SStarfish I keep getting so much patience. The world is mislabeling me in the opposite way…everywhere.

@HumanEarth Turns out I was wrong about OP's meaning, so I deleted my comment and replies.
Dianedidi7 · 31-35, F
@HumanEarth Do you agree with those comments….like you won’t answer my question.
Dianedidi7 · 31-35, F
@HumanEarth I thought you were mean to me
