Absolutely agree... it's not the thing that keeps love and intimacy alive long term.. For me humour, wit, intelligence and romantic are all way more important.

I could desperately use my version of some romance. That would mean coming home to folded laundry. Lol

I agree. A male may admire the looks. But he spends the rest of his life with the personality.

I think you might change your mind if the most handsome man in the world came knocking.

@Tatsumi the operative words there were you saying, *I* think. that's the problem.. very few men really understand how women think.. and this applies to all ages... many of them make some very glaringly incorrect assumptions and are convinced they are right.. so your thinking.. is ... just that...
And perhaps your experience is very limited...
LOL you can tell her that you have a 12 inch dick and can go 4 times (minimum!!!) but the proof of the pudding is in the eating.. so I suspect she's going to realise the truth soon enough :P

@Adaydreambeliever Frankly, I don't believe women understand how women think.
But we can go with that logic. If no one really understands how women think except women, then it stands to reason that the reason men do not understand women is because women feed incorrect or dichotomous information to men, is it not true? Men would be perfectly able to understand women if women were capable of properly explaining how women function, no?
The fundamental principle of humanity is that none of us understand ourselves. According to the Fruedian idea of consciousness, we're only aware of 10% of what makes us us. No one knows themselves. At all. If you want to know how men function, ask a woman who has had a lot of success with men. If you want to know how women function, ask a man who has had a lot of success with women.
Experience is important. But another fundamental concept of humans is that we are capable of learning from the experiences of others. And if one can gain both experience with understanding other's experiences, they can tremendously magnify their understanding.
You can see that on a societal level. Women say "I want a nice, caring, compassionate man who works hard," bla bla bla. Yeah, bullshit. So, a lot of the guys do that. Then they get there, and they're like "Wtf? Women still aren't accepting me!?" That's basically Britain in a nutshell. British men are so confused about women it's ridiculous.
The proof was not given.

@Adaydreambeliever interesting thread. Sadly I’m not 12 inches, have enough trouble with what I have lol. And I do enjoy eating pudding
My experience with women is that they all are somewhat different. I do want to know what works for them. The simplest thing is to just say what she likes. As a younger man, communication sure did help
