That person probably receives too many of the 'hey' opening messages and was fed up of having to figure out what this 'hey' would lead to. 🤷🏽
Not weird on this site to be blocked for 'hey'.

@SW-User Only person to make a note about this site... I would love to leave some on this site dreaming this is the only site that exists and how they act is within the bubble of SW they need. I want the hamsters out of the cage, they can be human again.

@SW-User people adapt behavior to their environment so it makes sense that they behave a certain way on here based on preconceived notions that they would not elsewhere, if those notions do not exist there.

@SW-User Then the old adage matters, just be yourself matters here as then you can disrupt that cycle. I think you are tired of this site, often I am too, and I know the meanings about being a part of a community, it means accepting some parts of a community, but it doesn't have to mean giving up those nuances that are yourself, and you can still be part. That's how community grows.

@SW-User in theory, I agree.
In practice, I state what I observe. Perhaps a little projection too because there was a time I used to get such messages, when I was active. And whereas on its own that is not a problem, it becomes one when someone responds and a variety of unsavory results emanate. People become wary of it and if you catch someone on a bad day, they can block.
Often what should be and what is, is entirely different. And it's okay.
Communities also have their idiosyncrasies.
