Kidding. I don’t hate anybody.
I observe people taking issue with the more blatant misogyny, interference with education, and lack of integration/homogenization to western practices,. They’re more comfortable with Christianity and other religions because much of the world, they’ve modernized.
I can’t speak for other religions, but today’s Christianity looks very different than what it was historically. Really, today’s Christianity barely resembles what it started out as. You ask people if they can relate to segments of the Bible, and you get a lot of, “Well, today, the Bible is up for interpretation!” or “ that was a different time!” responses. They have a very hard time admitting to themselves that what they actually believe doesn’t align with Christianity and in reality, they would be very unhappy if the world looked like ‘the original Christianity’.
