The ITALIAN word of today is...

HEEEEEEYYYYYY

DA OFFICIAL ITALIAN SHARK TEACHER OF SW IS HERE FOR YOUR KNOWLEDGE!

ALL WITH UPPERCASE

No jokes, it's really annoying.

SO, basically the word of today is dedicated to the damn @Nanori

The word of today is CRICETO which means... That thing ,the small creature which is not a squirrel nor a rat... whatever the name...

HAMSTER! Yeah, that one.
Kind of cute if you ask me, but also way too weak, especially compared to a shark.

NOW LUB MAH.
And ask stuff.

While we're having a bit of fun with Italian words, we need to be careful not to confuse the following, as they all sound similar but have totally different meanings:

FURETTO - another small furry animal, in this case a ferret
FARETTO - a spotlight, or one of those little halogen or diode down-lighter things that seem to be in everybody's ceilings these days
FERRETTO - an underwire on a bra

@supersnipe Yes you're right.

Worse than this, when it comes to Italian to English {and vice versa} translation we have what we call "false friend" words that seems to mean something but they actually mean a very different,if not opposite, thing!
TERRIFICANTE is not like TERRIFIC!
Dreadful, very scary!
Etc

Also LOL in my dialect cold means hot XD

Sharky86 · 36-40, M
@Tennessean United States of Tennessee, Italy is just the province of an ancestor of your cousin Jamilha.
