I like to pick and choose from all periods of history. There's no universal law that we have to be modern in everything that we do.

@Wiseacre That's somewhat true, but unfortunately and perhaps sadly trying to exercise them in the modern world is not productive or sustainable... and it's wrong. This was the case when people tried to apply old values and traditions from the 1890's in the 1920's. It was the case when people tried to apply old values and traditions from the 1920's in the 1950's. It was the case when people tried to apply old values and traditions from the 1950's in the 1960's... and so on at an accelerated rate.
