it offends me when people say “Mexican restaurants”

Instead of saying Spanish restaurant or Latino restaurant

Because why do Americans just assume that the only Latino residing people are Mexican?

That just irks me

It also irks me when people don’t understand culture and lump People together

People assume all Asians are Chinese

Or all Latinos are Mexican.

South American restaurant and Spanish restaurant would be totally different than a Mexican restaurant.
How do you feel about taquerias when they sell cheeseburgers?
I guess all I'm really asking, only not in type but in my head, Who calls themselves a Mexican restaurant that is not one? Im just confused, not nearly as much of an ass as I sound.
