People on this site are too sensitive and block you for no reason 🙄

The real problem is that it’s not just here. It’s everywhere in society

People block for a ton of reasons. The most obvious one is when you argue with them or aggravate them, that happens to me a lot.
Other times they block a demograph that you happen to be part of.
Sometimes people just go around blocking random people, I know someone in real life who does that.
Me, I do not hesitate to block sex spammers. I do not need my feed clogged up with it.

But yeah, in some cases it is because someone is very needy. Perceived rejection if you do not respond fast enough. Kind of like when someone greets one person but seems to ignore you.

I think the least thought about reason though is when someone is trying to flirt online but then in a panic they block whoever they were flirting with because they do not want their lover or spouse finding out about it. The cases of "Everything was fine and he or she blocked me for no reason."

This is indicative of a serious social problem everywhere. People seem to have no patience or understanding, and need constant immediate gratification.

I never fault anyone for not responding. Sometimes it’s necessary for all our mental health to take space. I used to get those, but just let them block. I don’t have time to respond when they want. Especially if it’s some random account.

Just let the blockers 'roll off like water from a duck's back' (to paraphrase an ancient cliché). Some members here just have an "itchy trigger/ blocking finger".

Well it's the internet. Some of us be ourselves while other's can get away behind the screen talking shit or anything since there's nothing else to lose in their lives.

There’s a misconception that social media equals instant attention or validation. Some people lose that dividing line between real life and electronic life.

I was the one who blocked someone who got mad at me for not writing back quick enough too. I like to have freedom not feel like I'm in jail.

Those people did you a favor . Lots of emotional and mental health instability on sites like this.

Its not worth the frustration, if they block, its doing you a favor. Best with your health

Ignore them. A lot of people who come here are socially inept and they like to make that your problem.

Honestly people like that are so self-centred. It’s ridiculous to expect that you should reply in a specified period of time and more so when you have been dealing with health issues and they knew that.
