People who joke about being abused

I don't understand. Why and How is this funny? Like how they got abused, but making jokes about it.
Now I think they are lying. It is like they are on the abuser's side.

If they can joke about it great. If they joke about it in front of other survivors it's really disrespectful.

@kodiac i agree completely, while they may joke about it, made them feel better, it could be very triggering & traumatic for others who were abused & do not find it funny

@AlyAngel It also makes light of the other person's experience. Sounds more like an abuser than a survivor.
