I Admire People Who Are Not Afraid To Be Themselves

There is something to be said about a person who will go against the grain of social norm to be themselves regardless of what others think or say. In my opinion I think people of this caliber should be admired for their ability to be who they are and stand for what they believe in.

@JerseyGal I agree. Its never an easy battle to stand for something that might not be a popular or normal based on society standards. There is so much pressure to fall in line and change who you are which I think is complete madness.

@Silentpleasure You are so right. It's easier to just go along with what everyone else believes or thinks, even when that may change who you are. I've always stood up for what I believed in because I feel that the only person I will change for is myself. Not because of what is popular or what society expects. In the long run, that would make me miserable. I believe in being yourself, no matter what is thrown your way or even if you're standing alone.
