I read when I feel bored, when I am curious about a subject, etc. When I was a teen and had little access to a library I would read about anything non-fiction…magazines if we had any. I also would read parts of the encyclopedia we had at home. That’s basic nerd isn’t it?

From a quick search - "Truman started school in 1892 (he could already read) and by the time he was 14 he had read all the books in the public library of interest to a boy and had read the family Bible 3 times".

Dang! I just edited the Harry T comment - I forgot to add the word "read". The comment now makes sense.
