Many people are not big on sports including the Super bowl. Between the pandemic and the politics injected into sports, they can keep it.

It’s a huge television event in addition to being about sports. Minus a pandemic, it can be a great party.

Everyone gathers to watch about 45 minutes of big guys moving a ball around, but it's spread out over the whole day, broken up by over priced ads for crap you don't need and commentary on what just happened and speculation about what may happen. There is also this animosity between sides and over consumption of high calorie snack foods and beer.

It’s awesome food day. That’s all you need to know!

Are you American? I don't watch sports either but I've never heard of someone that didn't know what the SuperBowl was.
it's the time of year when we all gather to celebrate owls, because we know they just do NOT give an ounce of fuck about anything; then there's a large gathering to decide which one is the most Superb Owl, who will reign for the rest of the year.

You know what I did this Super bowl sunday during the Superbowl?
I was in the middle of knocking over Dynamis D - Windurst in Final Fantasy XI.
The TV wasn't even on. I only knew it was happening because our linkshell brought it up and said fewer people might attend because of it.
No fucks were given.
