My stove is gas and I realized the hard way during a hurricane 2 years ago that when both the electricity & the gas goes out you are stuck out. But thank God I had a bunch of charcoal and wood chips so I put a lot of things on the pit. I was cooking chicken, shrimp, burgers, hot dogs etc..even veggies anything that I could find
