Well, I don't look for nor search out people to be friends with, ever. In reality I like my space and solitude and can be a bit of an introvert. In real life I do not hang out with anyone at all. I choose that and prefer that. It's others who insist on trying to be friends.

I guess since they may be lonely and need to interact constantly they think you / we do?
It's kind of intrusive.
