I Am An Introvert I Always Enjoy Being Alone

As horrible as this will appear due to the current circumstances, what a time to be alive. As I sit here, working from home, I can't help but reflect on hearing some of my own colleagues openly dreading the idea of being surrounded by four walls. Me? I was absolutely built for this moment.

What a relief it is to be away from it all, to not have to look people in the eye, to not have to feel awkward, to not be the subject of disrespect by children (and even a colleague or two!) who haven't a clue as to what I'd love to do to them if I saw them on the streets, to not come home in a deep state of depression because for as grateful as I am to have a job in these times, it makes me feel like everything I just mentioned.

To be honest, while I'm supposed go to back to work itself in April, I'd love nothing more than to stay home the rest of the year. And I really do mean that. I'd be so happy to not travel nearly two hours back and forth just to be miserable. This'll also give me the time to work on my side business, as I admittedly have given it little to no attention. My dream is to not just revive it, but to eventually make it a full time gig and I'll never leave my home again.

I also love walking in parks and seeing how much emptier they are. I love driving on a highway (I live right by three of them) and the traffic is non-existent. I love going into supermarkets and there's no one there. You may think I'm wrong. But I actually feel safe for once. It feels nice.

I'm an introvert around crowds and people I don't know. I like being alone and close to family
