Intelligence is a variable, insofar as to where or how you acquire it? Seeing great value in intelligence is crucial, in my view.

I like intelligent people who think rather than get dragged along by the mob!

Every intelligent person follows some kind of 'mob' which represents a theory or ideology. One doesn't learn unless he/she follows a certain path. Invention is just a byproduct.

Not sure what you're talking about. Whether a neurosurgeon or a Major General, both are intelligent and follow others. Yet with various academic background or path.
