Does anyone else here remember feeling like the cartoons they watched as a kid lied to them?

I remember watching kids cartoons as a toddler about school and social stuff, manners, having younger siblings, etc,

And every time I looked forward to something (*cough cough* starting school) it wasn't long before I wondered what the hell bs I was in 😂

I never believed cartoons. No one I knew looked like Popeye, Bluto or Olive Oyl.

@bijouxbroussard .....and no matter what Popeye said, spinach tasted horrible. 🤢

@bijouxbroussard it's weird tho,
I'm talking like when I was pretty young,

And about shows like sesame street,

Sure the puppets weren't real, but they were supposed to be educational shows that taught kids real world stuff

@bowman81 I always kinda liked spinach 😅

Especially with ricotta in puff pastry 😩
@Fishy I was in school when Sesame Street first came on, but my younger siblings watched it.

I actually love spinach. It was one of the few veggies I liked as a child. With ricotta in puff pastry sounds delicious. 😊

@bijouxbroussard woah, you mean you never tried spinach and ricotta?

They're pretty common here 😶

Especially pastizzis
@Fishy I’ve had spinach and mozzarella on pizza, and with other types of cheeses in salads. 😊

@bijouxbroussard those are awesome too c:

But the pastizzis and puff pastry rolls are outta this world 👌

If you ever see one, you gotta try it, trust me 👌😩
@Fishy Definitely. 👍🏽
