So, met hubby this morning and just like everyone warned he was wanting money. I gave him a bit then told him I'm filing for divorce and leave me alone..... SMH

Don't beat yourself up too bad, we all done stuff similar.
I drove across the USA to try to win back a loss cause decades ago and I also gave them a thousand dollars.
We all do it in some form or another
