Be careful, it's a rough patch everyone is going through at the moment. Until America returns back to normal all manner of illegal, immoral activities could occur. America has gone back 40 years, all thanks to... well.. Americans.
@JamesBugman I’ve been through it. I guess I’d hoped it wouldn’t return.
JamesBugman · 56-60, T
@bijouxbroussard Well, if you see her, let her know that not all whites think that way and we would defend her anywhere anytime. Sounds like she had a guardian already. Wow though, she will be looking over her shoulder for a while I bet. Sad.
@JamesBugman She got to see that firsthand. The neighbors who were kind to her are white.

I have never accepted that being drunk (or high) is an excuse for anything. Alcohol removes inhibitions and therefore the real feelings and unpleasantness show up. Unless there are mental health issues present, the man deserves to feel the full force of the Law. (Unlike certain other people who believe they are above it.)
DrWatson · 70-79, M
I have been sitting here for a while not typing anything, because my mind wandered into a furious free association of all the things I am angry about regarding white nationalists.

I am glad the guy was stopped, but I agree that people like him feel emboldened nowadays.
It's always grown men trying to intimidate women and kids. I've been there. I hope the girls okay.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
It's important to keep calling this out. Got someone thrown off of a website for that, amazing what a screenshot can do. Zero tolerance.
@uncalled4 I really appreciated my friend and neighbors confronting him. He shut right up when other men called him out. And he went quietly with the police.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
I think such people KNOW deep down they are a total waste of DNA, and do their best to smear that awful feeling over everyone else. It’s no excuse for anything but as you say, they are encouraged by horrible examples.

I also think it tortures them to know they’re not nearly as good as the people they abuse. Not even the same species.

I almost got in a fight in my LAST WEEK in jail over someone using the N word. I told him twice already to knock it off & once it happened the third time I got pissed. It caused a big commotion & almost got bad but the leaders of every race stepped in beside me to back me up. Dudes ended up apologizing to me & letting it go.

I almost wrote a post about it since I never really talked about it with anyone even after I got out

I'm so sorry. Horrible excuse for a human. And the poor girl too. I'm glad your friend was there.
Justmeraeagain · 56-60, F
Glad everyone was kept realitivly safe.
Hope he stays gone
ImNotHungry · 36-40, M
Some people lash out as an attempt to feel less worthless. He has his own demons.

Focus on the girl and make sure she isn't negatively affected by that nonsense
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
Im just going to shake my head and let it go. People like that tends to bring out a side of me the scares me
@AngelUnforgiven

With ya - I'm sitting here stunned.
Captain · 61-69, M
And is your area normally blighted by people like that or is this a growing trend ?
@Captain First time in the 24 years I’ve lived in this neighborhood. I’ve encountered that sort of thing before in my life—but never here.
Captain · 61-69, M
@bijouxbroussard Its happening all over though isnt it. In the 80s we had riots over Thatcher imposed de industiralisation but now its over immigration and extremism. Extremism breeds extremism. Things arent looking very good at the moment. Wish I could say something positive but you take care OK is the best I can think of. M xxx
@Captain Thank you. I was a child during the civil rights movement here, with the tail end of legal segregation, so I’ve seen some ugly things. I had hoped we were not going back to that. I can deal with it, I have before. But I did appreciate the reaction of my friend and it felt like the neighbors would have my back. 🙂

@MyNameIsHurl Indeed.

@Pfuzylogic I’m not crazy. Who would really think a grown man "brave" for bullying a child ?
You don’t know me as well as I thought you did. 😞
Pfuzylogic · M
@bijouxbroussard “brave” to assault someone in a crowd not of his own. In this age of trump, maga would consider it such.
@Pfuzylogic Alas, that is true. 🥺

Hope he's locked up for a long time
metaldog · 51-55, F
I still have a weird faith that one day humanity will evolve beyond this... it's like a last hurrah for the meatheads
@metaldog I had truly hoped that. But Trump being elected again, in spite of what people know about him now, dashed those hopes a bit. 🥺
What a waste of flesh. He doesn't even deserve prison.
metaldog · 51-55, F
@MarbleMarvel agreed
Jenny1234 · 56-60, F
Don’t want trash like that walking the streets

@caccoon Yeah. I hadn’t realized he was yelling at anyone, much less a child ! 😡
caccoon · 36-40
@bijouxbroussard it's not your fault

But it's so good of you to care
