@smiler2012 To be clear, can you clarify what the Nazi party stands (stood) for?
smiler2012 · 61-69
@Diotrephes it was for a germany for germans basically hatred and bigotry towards jews homosexuals 😆a bit like trump in a sense
Gloomy · F
@Diotrephes white supremacy, nationalism, pro genocide, anti-semitism, racism, "traditionalism", sexism, religious dogmatism, ....
Glad Germany outlaws any symbolic or speech tied to Nazi ideology.

@Gloomy 😆as i say that description you put sounds freakishly like what trump and his cult adhere too

@smiler2012 These people hide behind demanding FoS, but in reality their objective is to take that one away too for anyone but them. Textbook example of the paradox of tolerance.

@Gloomy And yet, in the U.S. people are allowed to fly swastikas and Confederate battle flags (which to many blacks is the equivalent of the swastika). 🥺
But folks are surprised that the United States continues to have a racist reputation abroad.

You should read about how racist the people in Minneapolis were toward the Jews during that period. The main difference is that they didn't actively kill them. https://religionsmn.carleton.edu/exhibits/show/st-louis-park-eruv-jewish/history/anti-semtisim-in-minneapolis

Essentially so long as they don't formally reconstitute the fascist party they can get away with anything. Just use a different name and publicly deny being fascist even in spite of using the very same symbols, salutes, politics or even having a bust of Mussolini in their association headquarters, and for the law they're fine.
