How the TOP algorithm works?

I keep looking at number of views and replies even when it was posted.

Like the feed it doesn't make any damn sense.

I know it's dumb to ask for the algorithms to make sense

I imagine those with VIP get pushed further up, even though a few VIPs on here get almost completely ignored.

I guess one could speculate all day but yeah, the algorithm makes little sense.

That is one good thing about traditionally organized forums - most people get equal attention, it is not about who is who or who is the prettiest or who is about to drop over d3ad real soon etc.

I do not know if you have used them but they are organized into several specific categories instead of things just plastered randomly like on here.

@HoeBag no I don't use any other sites. I was originally reluctant to use EP which is the only reason I use this other then the precense of Vickies account.
EPs feed was fair to everyone unlike here. And it didn't constantly get flooded with ancient posts above new ones
