hard to figure out some people sometimes......

i once worked with a guy who was relatively new to canada. i think he had a bit of a gambling problem as i'd always see him play lottery scratch 'n wins.the ones where if you get 3 identical prizes, you win that prize. one day i see a pile of discarded tickets on the table and i asked him if he won anything yet...he said nope and i never win. i happen to notice one of the tickets had 3 $10 prizes and told him this one is a winner. he says no it's not. i then scanned the code with my lotto app and showed him it was a winner....he says oh...i thought the numbers all had to be in one row....all this time he threw out potential winners 🙄
