Oh that's really handy to have! Every year we plant a garden would freeze drying our vegetables work better than canning them? And is it easier? If yes then I should look into getting something like that! Good on you!

@saintsong freeze dried vegetables can last up to and possibly beyond 25 years and still be safe, nutritious and delicious when rehydrated. Plus they can be stored in sealed bags rather than glass or metal cans, which tend to be heavy and harder to store.

Not to mention, freeze drying is a lot less labor intensive than canning.
