I am a man with a moustache and a beard. In fact I haven't trimmed it for over 10 years.

@hippyjoe1955 How often do you shower?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@sree251 usually daily. Sometimes showers are hard to get to so.....
sree251 · 41-45, M
@hippyjoe1955 Hard to get to? Are you homeless or what?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@sree251 Of course not. However when you fight with the bears in the woods it usually isn't over the shower.

Are you speaking in metaphor?

@sree251 No I am talking about real bears in real forests. You know the kind of places you find real bear poop.

We digress. We were talking about your beard and showering.

@sree251 My Great Grandfather wore a full beard. Abraham Lincoln wore a beard. Many famous men wore beards. I wear a beard as a sign of a covenant between God and myself.

Isn't that rather Jewish? The Sikhs wear beard for religious reason also. It is strange that face hair has religious significance.

@sree251 Not really Jewish at all. My covenant is between me and God. It doesn't involve anyone else nor to I tell anyone that they should or should not wear a beard. Many in my church do not wear beards and I have never mentioned it to anyone. It is kind of like me wearing kilts which again is between me and God. I don't suggest except in fun that anyone else wear a kilt. It has religious significance to me.
