I stay away from people who are annoyed by my curiosity and make idiomatic assumptions about me without asking questions...

They lead with their limits.

Idiomatic is a good word 🤓

I encourage people to be more interactive with curiosity
I constantly tell my coworkers that they need to ask more questions
(some of them criticize me for asking too many questions...I explain that's how we circumvent confusion and misunderstandings)
@Ferric67 Yes! Asking questions leads to understanding. And understanding is essential to, as you say, circumvent confusion and misunderstandings. It's a very simple, logical equation.

I'm not annoyed by curiosity but curiosity is an exchange. Not a one-sided deal where one reveals All and the other maintains total anonymity. Especially when it comes to people who have been betrayed from within
