@JustNik so between your parents and your sister, you keep your distance out of guilt?

@Ghostinthemachine I moved a few hours away which has been really lovely. I avoid being at their house at the same time she is whenever possible - rare that’s not possible. I’m the therapist and the peacemaker, divulge no more of my own life and feelings than necessary, and make sure I’m good n ready before initiating any communication. In this way, we all get along and I’m not generally smack in the middle of any drama. I don’t feel bad about my existence and I’m not responsible for my parents or my sister - I keep my distance because I can’t change any of this and prefer to just do what I can while minimizing the icky parts. Best we can do. 👍

@JustNik I marvel at how some people are so wrapped up in their lives, theirs problems, that they never bother to ask about yours, or even consider you may have them as well.

@Ghostinthemachine I thought you meant with this site or like a significant other. Friends and family are different issue status I won't list on SW.
