Have you ever had to prove your love to someone and is that normal?

Some can be scared, I understand, I am scared myself, I think in our world, that is normal.
But I am growing out of fears. So I had to take things slow, to affirm, to reassure. With words or actions, relationships do take work and time and I actually love doing it :)
