I hate these kinds of games
He ignores me all the time, then when I finally lose interest in trying to get his attention and I start ignoring him, he can't leave me alone. Childish.

Sounds like he's playing mind games with you. Are you able to make friendß with other people easily? Do you think you could survive alone, emotionally? Have you considered just shutting yourself down to him altogether, or ignoring him for a lengthy amount of time? Just a couple options to think about.
