I have always been different

Being different isn't always a bad thing I suppose, but when it comes to the medical field it's kind of a problem. 💀

Everybody's different, which is what makes life itself interesting.

If we were all the same, the world would be such a boring place.

@Wallflow3r Would you care to elaborate upon how you describe yourself as being "different?"
Wallflow3r · 26-30, F
@Sidewinder I have a rare form of ovarian cancer usually occurs in younger women and makes up only 10-15% of ovarian malignancies. It doesn't respond to chemo and there is outgoing clinical trials taking place but no official treatment has been approved.

@Wallflow3r That is rather unfortunate.

My Aunt (My Father's Sister) had breast cancer, but has managed to overcome it quite well.

During her treatment, she lost her hair due to the chemotherapy and when she did, I shaved my own hair in an act of solidarity.

Wallflow3r · 26-30, F
@1490wayb Omg I hope they were able to do fix that for her!
Pretzel · 61-69, M
the only thing I'd like less would be hearing the surgeon say "uh oh"
