How to apologize

If you offend someone on SW and they just stop communicating, despite your apologizing. Without totally throwing yourself at their feet, how do you show your sincere apology?

Assuming they haven’t blocked you, all you can really do is apologize. They can accept it or not. If not, that’s pretty much it. If they’ve blocked you, they’re not willing to hear an apology. It happens, alas. 🥺
