Is it bad being too nice?

People keep telling me I'm too nice. I have my boundaries, sometimes people may walk all over me or not take me seriously but I still hold to my boundary, but is being too nice bad when it comes to relationships with people?

@Fifidog Kindness breeds kindness and also can be hurt frequently. That's the pain I am referring to.
