I Act Older Than My Age

I hear it all the time. I guess I grew up fast and was able to realize that you should be mature when you need to be. I enjoy myself but I'm sure others are annoyed by the way I act. I think people need to grow up and act the appropriate way in certain situations.

Sadly I think life often forces us to grow up too fast.
We take on unrealistic responsibility at such a young age, not realising that we're missing out on part of the growing up experience. Namely, being a little reckless. Experimental even! And learning from the results !
From my own experience I can say that I had so much responsibility at a young age it's certainly coloured my view on life !
But I was determined that my children shouldn't have it !
I think I largely kept that promise. Although their mother didnt !
Ultimately it does affect your character.
You end up being the 'Go-To' guy for everybody !
And that can be very wearing.
