Respecting Boundaries

''I had an upbringing to respect other people's privacy and their right to be and choose what they want, and I expect - no, demand, no less for myself.'' -Kristian Nairn

Some people think everything is worth talking about...I don't.

Not respecting privacy shows no respect for boundaries.

They should talk about their family and not about that of others.

@Convivial Perhaps for some. Sometimes we make the mistake of letting people in only to find that they are the manipulative kind and so we draw a line that should not be crossed which serves as a fortress around ourselves for protection and when that line is crossed, the boundaries widen, as you say. Such is life, 'Once burned, twice learned''.
