Not sure I really had any beyond sports folk of the time.
Martin Chivers. Striker for Tottenham at the time.
I remember the summer of ‘76 and wildfires all over the world and an American named Red Adair made the headlines as he and his team were travelling the world putting them out.
I thought that was pretty cool !
Every so often Evel Kinevel would do something ridiculous on his motorcycle around the world.
And The Harlem Globetrotters ! A Basketball team of entertainers who would ‘play a game’, usually against The Washington Generals, their clowning around was legendary even then !

@Picklebobble2 the globetrotters! Nice. Basketball would be a lot more fun to watch if they all played like Gary Payton.
