Where do people

Get their political beliefs?
Family tradition, things they experienced and made assessments of of others, upbringing and they took their parents beliefs or they took polar opposites?
Also why so stubborn? I agree to some points on all sides. I might hear someone’s thinking and ponder if I should support this or that. I grew up with out political beliefs. I just fell in with a crowd. I grew up down south in a very rural area called the Big Thicket. I align with the right more than the left, but thanks to a couple of guys on here that are left they help me see it the difference in logics. I will not name no names. I know at least one of the guys know that they are one.

Now I rambled enough.

It's all of the above. We get our beliefs from our families, our upbringing, our personal experiences, our education, our reading, our interactions with others...my political beliefs have come from all of those. My beliefs are similar to those of my parents, but not exactly the same. My beliefs have changed and been refined further as I've learned more and had more direct experiences with certain people and issues.

I never figure someone disagrees with me because they're "brainwashed", which seems to be everyone's go-to explanation these days. I can often easily figure where they got their beliefs; I just happen to not agree with them. Lol.
