A lovely day with my Papa
Ever since arriving home from Scotland my Papa has been more supportive than he usually is (if that is possible) and we have been to church together, and we made luncheon together, and all afternoon we have been siting out in the garden talking about lots of things. There is quite a lot of fall out from my visit to see my Mama, the second time since she left us when I was eight years old.
Papa is very wise, and we are very close, tight, I think Americans put it. We talk about everything, and he knew that I was on my period this last week. I suppose there are tell tale things I say when talking that having lived with me so long he has learnt to pick up on. I don't mind, and I love it when he cuddles me with his warm hands on my lower abdomen, on the bulge every woman gets there when she is menstruating. He is able to give me such comfort, that warm feeling of being loved that we all love so much.
This evening we have had a light dinner. I have had a few troubled nights, very slow to get off to sleep, I have told Papa and he has adjusted our meal so it's not that delaying me settling. He has also suggested a little white wine to freshen my palette.
