I do not believe in them.
And even if I did, seeing as I was born 6 weeks prematurely, it is hard to imagine how the sign I was born in would matter more than the sign I was due to be born in. (Astrologers say that the mother's flesh shields the baby in the womb from astrological influences.)
Also, the earth precesses on its axis as it rotates (like a spinning top). Currently, the axis points to the North Star, but in ancient times it did not. So in fact, the sun is not even "in" the constellation that you supposedly are born into. This can be verified during a solar eclipse, when people can see the stars and the eclipsed sun . The sun is not located in the constellation that supposedly corresponds to the sign for people born on that date. It is located in the next constellation of the zodiac. (Astrologers say that what matters is the "house", not the constellation. But I am not sure what defines a house!)
