Why would an advanced culture, observing our behavior since we came down from trees, would be interested in interacting with us? Humanity has ALWAYS been at war with itself.
@RadiantRuby To get here from a habitable planet (by our standards), they would need advanced technology.
Years ago, I was watching Predator with a friend, and he said "this movie is not credible, why would an advanced culture hunt defenseless beings", and my instant response was "you hunt, don't you?"
@Northwest your onto something . Incase of them coming here they might need resources from our planet. Maybe it's the only thing that could unite humanity... an invasion of some kind
I mean I don't care what anyone says I believe that valient thor guy was real that worked in the pentagon for 3 years he was from venus.. I think it's possible and the radio show coast to coast am did a segment on him and had a guy explaining valient thor's time in the pentagon
@RadiantRuby I think Mars now may be too cold, dry, irradiated, and has too low an air pressure, to support life. Yet in the distant past it may have been warmer, wetter, and have a thicker atmosphere. So we may find something.
Venus is way too hot now for anything to survive, and the air pressure is immense, and full of sulfuric acid. But maybe long ago it was cooler and had oceans, and less pressure and no acid.
What I was thinking of, though, is the likelihood that there are many Earth-like planets in the universe. Sadly, they are likely too far away to visit in our lifetimes, unless we find ways to accelerate to near the speed of light, since time slows down. But when we return, a long time will have passed on Earth. But maybe we can just send robots with frozen cells or DNA and create new people when we get there thousands of years later.
@PerchingDove sometimes when I'm in mania mode.... I like to believe the world revolves around me and everyone and everything was created for my amusement. But my cruel ex crushes the dream and now I realise I'm just a soul among many that call mother earth a habitat
