Absolutely not. Superstitious mumbo jumbo.
Magical thinking is childish - believing a wish can make something manifest without taking physical actions. If it were possible everyone would get rich on the stock exchange or by winning Lotto.
On the other hand, if you're talking about herbal medicines and midwifery, that's a different matter - perfectly okay unless there's a really serious illness of complication.

Yes but it isn’t a word I’d use. There’s little to be guilty of.

If you read the Old testament you will read accounts of witchcraft.. So yeah witchcraft is a thing.. Whether your foster family where real whitches or fake ones i have no idea.. I hope you do not have a false view of God so that your prayers will be heard.. May you be liberated from any wicca effects if you have been cursed by any..

@Graylight I have had plenty of Islam shown to me by muslims... I have been on online religion forums for over 20 years... And plenty of discussions about islam with muslims.. As for religous Jews they are not as active because they are not evangelical religiously.. Muslims and Christians have evangelicalism as part of their religions.. But i have had religious discussions with 2 religious Jews online and had many interactions with Messianic Jews..
Actually99% of my posts in here are responses to what other people have posted about God in general and about the LORD Jesus in particular.. I only have a few topics i have started about Christianity.. I don't really have to start topics because most of the topics started about Christianity in here are started by unbelievers..

@Adstar Unbelievers. Define that. You amuse me so much.
Online forums, while interesting, are not how we learn things thoroughly. You have the same cobbled together glimpse of Islam that its various followers do. You know only the interpretation of their religion.
You have studied no theology. No academic investigation into the cultures, needs, geographies or politics of the times. You can read an entire aircraft manual, but that doesn’t mean you know how to fly a plane.

It depends on your working definition of witchcraft. If you’re talking about cloaks and crystals and bowls filled with water, that’s theater. At best it’s tokens used to fucus the user’s energy and at worst they create implications of power of nature.
Witchcraft is prayer is meditation is intent is self-improvement. It’s all essentially the same thing. It’s the focusing of intention in order to synchronize with the flow of the Universe to be a positive channel for change and good. There are no “white witches’ or “black witches.” There are no broomsticks or evil spells. There’s no need of covens and priestesses and secret circles. They’re all fine, but they don’t create what can’t naturally be created in any number of ways.
Because we can’t fly we don’t suspend our belief in aircraft. The Universe is like that; just because we don’t understand or have dominion over the kismet and currents of the Universe doesn’t mean we can’t learn to better use them to accomplish our goals in time.

It is written
Leviticus 20:6
6 “ ‘I will set my face against anyone who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute themselves by following them, and I will cut them off from their people.
2 Chronicles 33:6
6 He sacrificed his children in the fire in the Valley of Ben Hinnom, practiced divination and witchcraft, sought omens, and consulted mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, arousing his anger.
Leviticus 19:31
31 “ ‘Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.
Revelation 18:23
23 The light of a lamp will never shine in you again. The voice of bridegroom and bride will never be heard in you again. Your merchants were the world’s important people. By your magic spell all the nations were led astray.
Revelation 21:8
8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
Galatians 5:19-20
19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery;
20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions

@Graylight A few more. Leviticus clearly states wearing any cloth made of two or more fibres (so almost all modern clothing) is punishable by stoning. And if a bride is not a virgin she is to be executed too (deuteronomy).
Oh and working on Sunday....stoning. Yeah.

@Graylight Wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate, and narrow is the road that leads to life, and few find it 😉
REVELATION 22
“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.

I'm of the opinion it works, but the only stories I can tell you about it working could be interpreted as coincidence, and all I've got is narrative, or anecdotal evidence.
But yeah, it works.
But yeah, it works.
