@robingoodfellow That said, introducing the boscop man! They were small and childlike compared to modern homosapiens and while not magic, they’re estimated 150 average IQ would have made a knowledge of herbalism and other ways of harnessing nature seem magic to primitive man.
It’s hypothesized they died out because there’s no evidence they formed communities, a thing that gave early man an edge.

@Straylight something I think about:
When the human race was younger and living much closer with the natural world what if they had the ability to see and sense things that we no longer can?
Birds can see UV light patterns on flowers. We can't see them but that doesn't mean they're not there.
