It’s Faerie Friday! Post your fae folk!

And yeah, I’m stretching the definition of fae a bit in this one to include more folklore entities. But this is one of my favorites and I’ve been wanting to talk about it.

Hyakki Yagyō (百鬼夜行) is the "Night Parade of One Hundred Demons," a famous concept in Japanese folklore describing a chaotic procession of countless yōkai (spirits), oni (demons), ghosts, and tsukumogami (animated household objects) marching through towns at night.

See the Yokai trilogy of films 1968-69 by Daiei studios. Great films featuring Japanese folk tales of ghosts and monsters.
