Should be visible into February...

"A" green comet will be visible around midnight, tonight, if you use a telescope, or binoculars and you look low on the northeastern horizon.
The "green" is the gas coma that forms around it, as it gets closer to the sun. It's more like a "haze" around its core, as the sun heats it up.
It will be closest to earth between Feb 1 and 2, and it could be spotted near the North Star, but it will be farther away from the sun, so its green coma will be less distinct. Its orbit indicated it will be back in February 52023.

Same here, and I'm very disappointed.😶

Put eyes on a 10 km high rod and see it .

Yes, so often when something unusual happens astronomically, the weather acts against us! At least comets are visible, by eye or with aids, for some time so we've still a good chance of seeing them.

it's not as special as they make it out to be

There's so much light pollution in my area anyway that it would be hard to see a plane, figure a comet.
Unless I take the bicycle at 4:00 in the night and go 10km off in the countryside maybe

I saw a glowing green thing fall into the tall grass one night but it was on private property so I didn't go look for it. ☄️

I was hearing about that this morning. Visible once every 50,000 years, I think ?

Well at least where I live it's cloudy 9 times out of 10 this season, so it's rare to actually be able to plan such events
